Character Descriptions
editIs it necessary to have such a detailed character list? Especially in a collection of short stories, this seems excessive. This is not a drama, nor is it a lengthy and expansive epic like Gone with the Wind or Middlemarch where a cast of characters might be understandable. Mllefantine (talk) 05:11, 11 May 2010 (UTC)
- It certainly shouldn't be in place of a plot description98.27.213.72 (talk) 13:36, 15 December 2010 (UTC)
- Agree. This description of the characters is too long and provides a disjointed view of the plot via tidbits of plot points relating to each of the characters. Are there really this many characters? I think there are more characters here than in all of the Harry Potter books put together. Are all of these characters flat? Do any of them experience growth? What is Olive Kitteridge about other than a bunch of people? Why would anyone want to read this book or view the mini-series? Ileanadu (talk) 19:33, 11 October 2014 (UTC)
Missing story/chapter
edit"Incoming Tide" is missing from the summaries of chapters/stories. 2600:1700:80EF:240:94F4:2F5A:47CA:1B19 (talk) 13:48, 19 October 2023 (UTC)
- The summary of this story that was deleted in August 2023 has been added back in. Unclear why it was deleted in the first place. 2601:8C:4A7C:84A0:CB6C:C80C:1A92:8B89 (talk) 00:22, 2 October 2024 (UTC)
