Testing ship
editUSS Wadsworth (FFG-9) was a short-hull frigate, but was fitted with RAST as a trial for the newer long-hull LAMPS III vessels. RAST was deleted during the 4100-ton displacement upgrade in 1990. Wadsworth also served as a test-bed for stealth coatings, used on later vessels. https://www.jstor.org/stable/44642486?seq=1#metadata_info_tab_contents 50.46.9.58 (talk) 08:13, 14 December 2021 (UTC)
