editThe section 'The Denys Family of Olveston Court' was entirely created by now-retired User:Lobsterthermidor. As explained here, his contributions, though well-intentioned, were problematical due to the persistent integration of original research among the referenced parts, making it very difficult to disentangle the reliable content from his own interpretations, speculation, personal opinions and comments.
Until this issue can be resolved, readers should treat this section with caution and should do their own research to verify any information they take from here. —SMALLJIM 21:36, 18 July 2013 (UTC)
This is the first time that I have looked at this entry on Olveston. May I take issue with the Denys family at Olveston Court. It is confussion with that of Olveston and Alveston being adjoining villages. The Denys family resided in what we know today as Church Farm Rudgeway, within Alveston Parish. The Church adjoining became a chapel of ease to Olveston Church hence the reference to and the brass memorial within Olveston Church. The Denys moved from Alveston to Siston were they remained. It was the Crok and Walshe family who resided at Olveston Court during the period you quote on the Denys. Much research is being carried out on the history of Olveston Court, that has been a mistry for many decades. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.114.159.200 (talk) 09:43, 20 September 2018 (UTC)
