editIs Epps Muslim? His name sort of implies Islamic affiliation, but I wanted to be sure. Thanks for any help. --71.98.5.40 09:05, 27 December 2006 (UTC)
Image
editCan someone with an account put the picture of him in his "House" role on this page (Now there is no picture. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 194.144.18.242 (talk) 18:34, August 22, 2007 (UTC)
- I wondered this, but the answer is apparently no. From the Omar Epps page source:
- " NOTE TO EDITORS: Do not replace the header image unless it is with a photo under a public domain or free license (NOT the same as fair use). Any fair use photos (i.e. promotional photos, album covers) are copyright violations and will be deleted. Also see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Non-free_content_use_criteria This means a promotional image of the character Eric Foreman is NOT acceptable."

Y do u all keep deleting Omar's 1st wife and elder daughter?
editI added his 1st wife /marriage and elder daughter. The info is sourced. Omar mentions his exwife & older daughter in interviews. He brings Aiyanna to press events along with his 2nd/current wife & kids. The info is sourced with a celebritybabies.org source, and cb is valid site that is owned by People Magazine. If the other editors would google they themselves would see that ther are many references to Omar's ex wife & daughter. Another ex is this May 2007 Jet Magzine interview.
But instead of researching other editors (User_talk:Garion96,User_talk:Tool2Die4) just revert. As of 18:08p User:Garion96 reverted and locked the article, real mature.
Some 1 pls weight in. Thank You.

Uh, celebrity-babies.com doesn't even remotely qualify as a reliable source. Furthermore, you even added a citation needed tag to other text you added. Either get reliable sources for each blurb you are wanting to add, or stop bothering with it. You've already been brought to the attention of the admins over at AIV. Yes, We All Know He Looks Like Mike Tomlin, But...
editSomeone recently decided to come onto this page and change all of Omar's names to "Mike Tomlin" or "Tomlin" throughout the article. I really wish you wouldn't do that. Yes, he resembles currently (2009) Pittsburgh Steelers' coach Mike Tomlin, but believe it or not, they are NOT the same person. I've changed all of these back, including all the links in the article (most of which were dead because the "Mike Tomlin" name appeared in them as well). Everything should link correctly now.Kp.murphy (talk) 20:15, 4 December 2009 (UTC)
Why not add a section to Personal Life to at least acknowledge the strong resemblance and add a link from popular culture (House episode???) Johnhwynne (talk) 06:35, 31 May 2020 (UTC)
Birthday
editWas Omar born on July 20/1973 or July 23/1973? Hotwine8 03:22, 11 August 2006 (UTC)
July 23 is stated on the most pages on Google. However if someone who has an account on www.veromi.net or lives in the US and can register the information can be checked out here. http://www.veromi.net/Summary.asp?fn=Omar&mn=H&ln=Epps&dobmm=&dobdd=&doby=&city=&state=&age=&vw=&Search=&Input=&x=0&y=0 Karbuncle (talk) 02:53, 21 January 2010 (UTC)
References
editWeird Links I am not a WP expert, but I wondered why links for comparisons of exercise equipment and for a story of people who kept their child in a cage appear in the "references" section, but they do not come up in the edit code, so it doesn't seem clear how they are appearing or how they can be removed. Obviously these stories have nothing to do with Omar Epps. Jefferson1957 (talk) 05:02, 13 May 2014 (UTC)
