Uncontested move (once the Bob Marley song article was created) Herostratus (talk) 04:29, 30 November 2013 (UTC)
One Drop (song) → One Drop (KAT-TUN song) – fails WP:CRITERIA and WP:DAB: "Bob Marley" + "One Drop" 789 results, vs zero Google Books results for the Japanese song. Two more songs on One Drop dab. In ictu oculi (talk) 07:07, 29 November 2013 (UTC)
*Oppose. There are no other Wikipedia articles about songs titled "One Drop". A hatnote pointing to One Drop#Music would suffice.Raykyogrou0 (Talk) 13:03, 29 November 2013 (UTC) Support Maybe the Bob Marley song article should have been created first so this RM would have been unnecessary. Raykyogrou0 (Talk) 04:16, 30 November 2013 (UTC)
- Oppose per Raykyogrou0 (Public Image Ltd. are still around??). --BDD (talk) 17:25, 29 November 2013 (UTC)
- Both these opposes are contrary to guidelines. But beyond that what difference does it make that we, Wikipedia's volunteers editors, have made an article for an unknown Japanese song, but not one for a classic Bob Marley song? That is simply a reflection of Wikipedia's editor demographics. Notability is determined by print sources not by Wikipedia. In ictu oculi (talk) 18:54, 29 November 2013 (UTC)
- This is ridiculous, okay. One Drop (Bob Marley & The Wailers song). In ictu oculi (talk) 03:33, 30 November 2013 (UTC)

N.B.: At this point, the article One Drop (Bob Marley & The Wailers song) was created. Herostratus (talk) 04:03, 30 November 2013 (UTC)
- Uncontroversial Move. Since the article One Drop (Bob Marley & The Wailers song) now exists, the technical ground for the two Oppose votes above are moot, so this becomes now an uncontroversial move, and I'll mark the existing redirect for deletion make the move (and recast this article (One Drop (song) as a disambig page.) Bob Marley
editHi User:Raykyogrou0, re "created first so this RM would have been unnecessary." - sorry but no, exactly what we should not be doing. Reality exists in reality (particularly in WP:RS. Wikipedia should be following reality not trying to form it. In ictu oculi (talk) 12:26, 30 November 2013 (UTC)
- Why would a page title have to have additional disambiguation to distinguish it from other articles when those articles don't exist yet? Raykyogrou0 (Talk) 12:30, 30 November 2013 (UTC)
- Hi User:Raykyogrou0 Because Wikipedia:Disambiguation says in the first paragraph that we do not disambiguation by titles but by article content. This is a guideline that editors are expected to follow. We have no article Hurricane but that does not mean Hurricane (Bob Dylan song) can be moved to Hurricane. In ictu oculi (talk) 01:32, 1 December 2013 (UTC)
- No, but that's different because "Hurricane" is the same thing as "Tropical Cyclone", which is why it redirects there. It would have been unnecessary to distinguish "One Drop (song)" from other songs which don't have articles, that's what hatnotes are for. Raykyogrou0 (Talk) 04:33, 1 December 2013 (UTC)
