abloom
editI'm glad that someone finally put something about abloom on wikipedia, as they were one of the best bands in recent memory. However, this isn't the appropriate place for it. I mean half of the article talks about abloom, which is a band that contains only two members of onesidezero. I could understand if every member of OSZ was involved, having this much of the article dedicated to abloom, however they weren't so this really isn't the appropriate place for it. The page definitely needs references to abloom and a link to an article on the band, so i don't think that the info should be deleted, until said article is created.68.255.184.57 06:37, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
This crap about abloom is here because this page was most likely written by Jasan Radford. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.91.24.15 (talk) 18:38, 4 May 2017 (UTC)
Still Together?
editA few years ago I read that the band disbanded. Are they still together as the article states? --Ortzinator 17:56, 11 August 2006 (UTC)
- yes they disbanded a few years ago, and all worked on seperate side projects (most notably abloom, featuring 3/4s of the recently disbanded soulfly) but they got back together about a year or so ago for some "reunion" gigs, and decided to actually start the band back up. Similarly they almost broke up before their album was recorded, and were only going to circulate the 2000 demos as a sort of fairwell type deal, when someone at maverick heard the demos and gave them a deal.69.213.152.159 21:03, 10 October 2006 (UTC)
similar
editthe similar section needs to be reworked or removed entirely as OSZ don't really sound like any of the bands listed.
the "other" OSZ
editMaybe the other onesidezero (the design company) deserves their own wikpedia page (although i doubt it). In any event, the reference to the design company should be removed from this article, and a disambiguation page created.
The other OSZ should have a page on wiki somewhere about them, i don't think there is at the moment but they look pretty cool...
I edited this page abit, i took out the "Similar Bands" section, as OSZ don't really sound anything like any of the bands listed. I took out the part about the "other OSZ", if that company is notable enough to have it's own wikipedia article, then someone can create one, and create a disambiguation page for onesidezero. I moved the part about Jasan contributing to the Digimon soundtrack into a trivia section, and re-worded it (i highly doubt that anyone would know who he was because of those two songs, and not years of touring with this band). I also removed two of the three superfluous listings of THE SAME ITRGS promo (it was listed twice as a single.. wtf?) and i'm considering deleting the third, as the only notable thing about the promo is the alternate art, and that should really be a trivia entry on the album's wikipedia article. In the future i may add more to this article (as it badly needs more substance), but not right now, as i have shit to do.65.43.221.230 16:37, 31 October 2006 (UTC)
