Zwiebel kuchen/unfocused tag
editI removed Zwiebel kuchen. There is a 1922 source cited that describes it as "cake" and there are other reliable sources that say its literal translation is "onion cake" but the majority of modern sources I've been able to find describe it as either a "bread" or a "pie" made with shortcrust pastry. For the tag, should pancakes and other types of (leavened?) cakes all be in one article with savory breads and pastries just because they all include onion as an ingredient? - I restored the original version. For Zwiebel kuchen it can be a yeast dough or shortcrust, the former being something like cake. I also found other German recipes for onion breads. This probably has to do with brotkuchen which we don't have an article on right now, but split and merge is an option for some other time. Spudlace (talk) 04:18, 24 September 2021 (UTC)
