Comments

1b. The article complies with the MoS, except in respect of WP:LEAD. The lead should be expanded a bit to summarize the entire article better - the most important pieces of information pertaining to the route description should be there, as well as the most general info about route history. 2b. The last sentence of the "History" section requires some sort of referencing.

The article is generally good, except for the lead and a referencing issue. I'll place the GAN on hold for now.--Tomobe03 (talk) 13:00, 9 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for reviewing this article as well! I've made some fixes; I think the lead could use a little more substance yet. However, more importantly, I noticed that I'm using a source from 1980 to establish the 1983 opening date for the highway. I'm going to let this hang on hold for a couple days so I can make a trip to the library and fire up the microfiche's. - ʄɭoʏɗiaɲ τ ¢ 17:08, 9 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
No problem, that sounds like a reasonable thing to do.--Tomobe03 (talk) 17:11, 9 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
Wasn't much help unfortunately. The mid-70s to early-80s is one of the periods of time where there are seemingly no sources for highways in Ontario. As such, I've referenced the earliest map (January 1984) to contain the route as a reference to it opening before that, and the contract for the final paving of the bypass of Highway 17 in 1982 to reference it opening after that. - ʄɭoʏɗiaɲ τ ¢ 18:52, 11 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
Will do. Nice work.--Tomobe03 (talk) 11:31, 12 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
