It is mentioned that it includes Aztec and Mayan gods, but as of Episode 1, no mayan gods have appeared. The first two gods that appear, summoned by the self sacrifice of a priest, are Cocijo and Xoo, which are neither aztec nor mayan, they are zapotec. The city that is leveled in the first episode is zapotec.
