Talk:Open-air preaching

Latest comment: 5 months ago by Nikelous in topic freedom of speech first amendment

Does anyone else question whether the John 3:16 guy and roadside display sections should be in there? I'm not entirely certain if they qualify under the classic definition of "open-air preaching," like with folks such as Charles Spurgeon and Ray Comfort. It's not like the guy is actually talking into the cameras or to the 30,000 folks in the stands. MessengerAtLWU 04:50, 19 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

biblical open air preaching

edit

I think there needs to be a scetion about biblical open air preaching. A comment is made in the artical about open air preacher not agreeing with the tactics of other OA preachers.

Could you elaborate on that statement? Do all Christians agree on doctrine? Of course not. I think that they would also disagree on "tactics". - NoSnooz 14:21, 12 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Roadside religious displays

edit

I agree that this should not be here. The article is focusing on verbal open-air preaching, not displays of Biblical themes/etc. Askbros 09:06, 15 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

This article needs heavy editing, with some rewriting, and a better selection of illustrations.
