Technologies and Methodologies
editIt would be interesting if the actual methodology of Open Table was documented. A lot of people are coming over to the article to learn more about it because it's being used in several places as an example of adapting new technologies to existing practices and, in the processs, commoditizing them (in this case restaurant reservations).
Things like whether OT provides its own hardware and network connection or uses the local restaurant's. How "notes" are taken and shared for customers. What systems, if any, are in place to track abuse. Etc.
Also, the discussion page is empty. If there's been a request for deletion with a "keep" resolution I'm surprised it'd be left empty. --eduo 13:26, 20 June 2007 (UTC)
editThis sounds like an advertisement particularly the "Services for Diners" section. It sounds like it was copy and pasted from their website. Especially with the word "Now". -I just modified it a bit to make it sound less like an ad. But I think that even the Title of the section sounds like an ad. Changing it to Services for Users. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Aceofspades1217 (talk • contribs) 21:28, 31 July 2010 (UTC)
OpenTable app
editIs the OpenTable app still available for Palm OS?
How Many Founders?
editThe first sentence says OpenTable was founded by 3 people; the first sentence in the history section lists only one founder. PetesPizza (talk) 22:24, 10 July 2024 (UTC)
