editI am the creator of Open Source Shakespeare, and I would like to document the site's notability. According to the notability guidelines, it must be "the subject of multiple non-trivial published works whose source is independent of the site itself." One example is Wikipedia, which cites OSS in at least 40 articles, for example the William Shakespeare article. Here are some university web sites (mostly libraries) that cite OSS:
- University of Birmingham
- University of Adelaide Library
- National Chengchi University (Taiwan)
- Texas A&M
- University of Massachusetts, Massachusetts Center for Renaissance Studies
- Bryan College
- University of Georgia
- University of Pennsylvania
- Baylor University
- Western Michigan University
- Rhodes University (South Africa)/Shakespeare Society of Southern Africa
- Richmond University
- University of Michigan
- Siena College
- La Salle University
- Princeton University
- Purdue University
According to Google Analytics web usage statistics, OSS gets about 35,000-40,000 unique visitors a month during the academic year. --Leobinus (talk) 02:14, 5 November 2008 (UTC)
