Dipscam stub
editThis article is the type of stub which initially consists of unaltered text found online. In this case, there was one change: FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE in the original was replaced by Press Release (see article history). Operation Dipscam is itself undoubtedly notable enough to deserve an article, but a mere copy of a press release will not be adequate to sustain it. For now, in anticipation of the possibility that it might not be deleted, I have wikified it a bit: many of the now-wikilinked terms will be needed in any future legitimate form of this article. - And for that I thank you. I will continue my research on this topic and "beef" it up. I would also like to thank you for the formatting corrections, I should have spent time with editing guidelines. FrankTownend 16:30, 19 November 2006 (UTC)
- You are welcome. –Æ. 21:38, 19 November 2006 (UTC)
Cleanup
editA cleanup tag was added to the article today. FrankTownend, you initiated this article last month with a press release: if you care about its future, it would be a good idea to start making it encyclopedic. –Æ. ✉ 21:50, 17 December 2006 (UTC)
- UPDATE: The article has been tagged for speedy deletion (see notice at top of article page) - now is the time to add {{hangon}} to it & get to work to make it worth keeping! –Æ. ✉ 04:33, 29 December 2006 (UTC)
- Second update: the article was tagged for speedy delete at 03:32, 29 December 2006 (UTC); the tag was removed at 05:15. Aside from elementary wikifying which did not alter the content, the article still consists solely of the press release copied on its first day as a stub. It may be re-tagged at any time. –Æ. ✉ 07:46, 29 December 2006 (UTC)
