This article is in good shape. I have a few comments/queries/suggestions:
- suggest "initiated" rather than "executed" in the lead, as explosions aren't usually described as executed
- United Kingdom
's - comma after first mention of Green Bamboo
- comma after Minister for Supply
- what was the Lucky Dragon incident? link?
- Done Good point. Added. Hawkeye7 (talk) 21:10, 28 August 2017 (UTC)
- full stop after "would be suitable"
- comma rather than full stop after "6 February 1956"
- suggest "Westland Whirlwind aircraft"
- drop the period after "frozen produce."
- link potable water to drinking water
- suggest Grumman TBF Avenger divebombers
- The Avenger was a torpedo bomber, not a dive bomber. Added "attack aircraft", as the torpedo bomber role was obsolete in the 1950s.
- Now that you mentioned it, I was not sure what their role was. A check reveals that they were employed in the anti-submarine role. The Avengers remained the RN's main anti-submarine aircraft until superseded by the Fairey Gannet in the mid-1960s. Hawkeye7 (talk) 02:33, 29 August 2017 (UTC)

- In addition there
waswere - sappers should probably be linked
- 105,000 imperial gallons needs an adj=on code to drop the s
- Ma
trch 1957 - something missing "RAF ground crews at were"
- HMS Warrier appears to be a typo
- Oh dear. Hawkeye7 (talk) 02:15, 29 August 2017 (UTC)
- when lithium-6 deuteride is first mentioned in relation to the Grapple 2 test, it isn't explained how this came about or what the purpose of adding it was
- Ah. The details are in the Boosted fission weapon and British hydrogen bomb programme articles. Added an explanation in the background section. Hawkeye7 (talk) 02:35, 29 August 2017 (UTC)
- Christmas Island.Monitoring equipment needs a space
- publicity before this test?
- That works. Hawkeye7 (talk) 02:15, 29 August 2017 (UTC)
- Round A is introduced, but not explained
- Oh. Inserted a paragraph lifted from the British hydrogen bomb programme article that explains it. Hawkeye7 (talk) 02:53, 29 August 2017 (UTC)
- a nearby bomb or nearby bombs?
- Both work. Went with "a nearby bomb". Hawkeye7 (talk) 02:15, 29 August 2017 (UTC)
- Aldermsaton
- A frequently misspelt name. Corrected. Hawkeye7 (talk) 02:15, 29 August 2017 (UTC)
- boosted with solid lithium hydride?
- out of sequence here, but shouldn't the reason for the McMahon Act be explained in Background? As there is mention of information security in the Aftermath section?
- The purpose of the McMahon Act was to replace the wartime Manhattan Project with a statutory body, thereby bringing nuclear weapons under civilian control. Hawkeye7 (talk) 03:01, 29 August 2017 (UTC)
- my mistake, I thought it was to stop sharing of nuclear information with the UK because of spying? My point is that the spying is alluded to in the Aftermath section, but not mentioned in the Background section.
- The purpose of the McMahon Act was to replace the wartime Manhattan Project with a statutory body, thereby bringing nuclear weapons under civilian control. Hawkeye7 (talk) 03:01, 29 August 2017 (UTC)
- Capenhurst is mentioned in passing. What was it?
- The site of the British uranium enrichment plant. Added words to that effect. It is in a place called "Chester", but I doubt if I could find Chester on a map. Hawkeye7 (talk) 03:10, 29 August 2017 (UTC)
- drop the space "New Zealand. [149]"
- fn 136, 137 and 138 have 404 errors
- Repaired link rot with the help of archive.is. Hawkeye7 (talk) 03:22, 29 August 2017 (UTC)
- File:Hastings TG 582 over London, Xmas Island Aug 1956.jpg the licensing doesn't look right, should probably be PD-UKGov unless the uploader is Dennis Hobbs himself
- File:OperationGrappleXmasIslandHbomb.jpg needs a date of commercial publication before 1967, as it was taken after 1 June 1957
- File:Grapple Y test.jpg needs a date of commercial publication before 1967, as it was taken after 1 June 1957
- Could no verify this, so have removed the images. Hawkeye7 (talk) 01:47, 30 August 2017 (UTC)
- British hydrogen bomb programme and thermonuclear weapon are linked twice in the lead
- Unlinked. Hawkeye7 (talk) 02:15, 29 August 2017 (UTC)
- great power is linked twice in Background
- Unlinked. Hawkeye7 (talk) 02:15, 29 August 2017 (UTC)
- Group Captain is linked twice in Preparations, and Malden Island is overlinked in the same section
- Unlinked. Hawkeye7 (talk) 02:15, 29 August 2017 (UTC)
