Jun 22 -Op Hoover was initially a Hotel Company/ Alpha Squadron Combat Team operation, but grew to a 2 RCR Battle Group op for the final phase in Nalgham, Zhari. Op HOOVER was part of the overarching Op BAAZ TSUKA. A lot of the info in the current version of the article is myopic and out of context. The main reason that Op HOOVER was significant is because its final phase planned and conducted at the BG level with good results.
Arguably, there have been more significant and successful operations conducted by BG sub-units in Kandahar. MC
