Reviewer: Ironholds (talk) 18:26, 27 July 2010 (UTC) Fantastic article; why do you milhist people generate so many good ones? As a legal eagle I'm highly jealous :P. A few grammar quirks:Reply

  • "The SSRF also known as No. 62 Commando, was a small 55 man unit" - "The SSRF, also known as No. 62 Commando, was a small 55 man unit"
  • "The Maid Honour, a 65 ton Brixham yacht trawler, left Poole harbour on 9 August 1941, for West Africa" - "The Maid Honour, a 65 ton Brixham yacht trawler, left Poole harbour on 9 August 1941, bound for West Africa" or "The Maid Honour, a 65 ton Brixham yacht trawler, left Poole harbour on 9 August 1941 for West Africa"
  • "the SSRF under command of Captain Geoffrey Appleyard" - "the SSRF under the command of Captain Geoffrey Appleyard"
  • "Freetown was the agreed rendezvous for both groups Appleyard's party having arrived at the end of August" - "Freetown was the agreed rendezvous for both groups, Appleyard's party having arrived at the end of August"
  • "March-Phillipps and his second in command, Appleyard, on board," - "March-Phillipps and his second in command Appleyard on board,"
  • "under command of Hayes" - "under the command of Hayes"
  • Still, a fantastic article. Ironholds (talk) 18:26, 27 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
Thank you not a lone effort, I have had some assistance from others in the WP:MILHIST community.
The above grammar changes have been done. --Jim Sweeney (talk) 18:41, 27 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
