While trying to use this article for some data, I noticed the voteshare in 2024 results does not add up to 100%. This seems problematic and casts doubt on the accuracy of these results in my opinion. Can anyone explain why this is?
It seems data was used from the Europe Elects website, but I am afraid this may be unreliable, especially considering that page shows a *projection* rather than the final result.
Accurate polling aggregation requires a consistent definition of groups in order to ensure comparisons between polls reflect differences in opinion rather than changes in methodology or classification/definitions. 86.92.89.111 (talk) 14:20, 26 November 2024 (UTC)
Furthermore: It would seem the percentages used in this article don't even line up with the source they're being attributed to. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.92.89.111 (talk) 14:59, 26 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
- Hi! You are right, I corrected the results for the 2024 popular vote according to the Europe Elects estimates.
- It is difficult to find sources for the popular vote European election results since there are not many websites that cover this topic and because the election lists sometimes are made of MEPs that belong to different European parliament groups. So, if you have a better source fell free to add it to the page. Clairos (talk) 16:55, 27 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
