Dead links

Different charts for different polling companies

Looking at the chart on the page (kudos to whoever made it by the way, great job there), I wonder if it is worth splitting it by polling company. For instance, YouGov's polling always seems to give Labour a higher lead than ComRes, even when taken at the same time. The result of putting them all on the same graphic results in difficult-to-read and often erratic lines. I'm not sure how it would look, but does anyone else think it would be better to have different graphs for each company, for instance one for YouGov, Populus, ComRes, etc.

What do other editors think?

And perhaps most importantly, does anyone know how best to achieve this; my skills are beginner level at best. —JeevanJones (talk) 22:52, 1 June 2012 (UTC)

I'm of the view that the table should reflect all figures. Our graph should more or less be the Poll of Polls, that way we're not favouring one polster over another! It gives more of a long run average. See above discussion for new graph to continue discussion! Nick Nick Dancer 13:49, 8 December 2012 (UTC)

It looks like this page got deserted from 30 June onwards, with a single entry on 15 August. I've added up until 9 July, but here's a list I've quickly put together of YouGov polling up to 16 September. This should hopefully be helpful for Wikipedians when updating the polling list. Can people possibly delete the polls they have added or mark them some how (maybe with a * in front once they have done them because it's confusing, I'd like to help out but I'm gonna give myself headache checking each one and I need like 4browsers open.
