I'm just a little curious about what is said in the article that it has been used as "an emmenagogue in treatment of asthma, chronic visceral infections, hysteria and hypochondria". An emmenagogue, to my understanding it used to encourage menstruation, and I was just wondering what is the connection between menstruation and treatment of asthma? Historically was there thought to be a connection between these things? Jrwagner 19:31, 6 April 2007 (UTC)Jrwagner
