Current leader paragraph
editI have deliberately made the paragraph that would normally note the current leader of the opposition vague. As the position is not governed by statute, it is unclear whether, now that Newman has been elected to Parliament, Seeney's status as Opposition Leader has or will change before Newman is sworn in as Premier. Likewise, it would be speculative to suggest that Bligh will become Leader of the Opposition when she resigns as Premier because she could also resign as Labor leader. If a spill were to happen before the resignation, presumably her replacement would take become Leader of the Opposition automatically. If a spill were to happen afterward but before the Parliament opens, Parliament might not bother noting the interval. All of these questions will be answered in time; I just wanted to avoid speculating about those answers now. -Rrius (talk) 13:13, 24 March 2012 (UTC)
Whistlemethis
editWhistlemethis' conduct in this article back in July 2014 was absolutely appalling when he asked evidence be provided that Anthony Lynham was going to get a place in the Shadow Ministry after winning the Stafford by-election.
Anthony Lynham was always going to get a place in the Shadow Ministry as the ALP Caucus is not big enough to have a backbench.
He was basically asking for an expectation of what two and two equals to. 58.109.94.172 (talk) 01:11, 13 November 2014 (UTC)

editI don't know why you're upset about my asking for clarification. You used the word "expected", I asked you to add something explaining who/what was expecting this outcome and why that result was expected. All it would have required is for you to actually add to the page what you just said above i.e. "Anthony Lynham [is expected] to get a place in the Shadow Ministry as the ALP Caucus is not big enough to have a backbench"
Your cry of "appalling" seems a little much.
Happy editing.
