Orders, decorations, and medals of the German states → Orders, decorations, and medals of Germany – Per WP:CONSISTENCY, without losing scope. Germany is a federation. Cf. United States. PPEMES (talk) 21:18, 30 November 2019 (UTC)
- Oppose. This article is about decorations awarded by the various states only, not the nation. Orders, decorations, and medals of Germany is ambiguous, as evidenced by the dab page there - East Germany, Nazi Germany, German Armed Forces, etc. Station1 (talk) 08:34, 1 December 2019 (UTC)
- Well, couldn't the scope also comprise the federal entity in present in addition? PPEMES (talk) 10:47, 1 December 2019 (UTC)
- I suppose if you wanted to merge in a couple of the other articles now on the dab page, this could be moved to Orders, decorations, and medals of the Federal Republic of Germany, but merging might make the article too long or complicated. Station1 (talk) 02:40, 2 December 2019 (UTC)

- Well. What is your reason to exceptionately deviate here from WP:COMMONNAME Germany for the Federal Republic of Germany? PPEMES (talk) 23:00, 2 December 2019 (UTC)
- You mentioned expanding the scope to include the present federal entity. Germany might also refer to Nazi Germany or the German Empire. If you wanted to merge everything on the dab page into one article you could use that title, but I don't think that would be helpful. Station1 (talk) 07:45, 3 December 2019 (UTC)
- It doesn't, does it, by WP:CONSISTENCY with WP:COMMONNAME? PPEMES (talk) 16:10, 3 December 2019 (UTC)
- It's academic unless a merger is planned. Station1 (talk) 03:13, 4 December 2019 (UTC)

- Oppose. Orders, decorations, and medals of Germany already exists to discuss the national awards as a whole, although admittedly it is essentially only a list page. This article is about the awards of the individual states. -- Necrothesp (talk) 13:59, 4 December 2019 (UTC)
