edit- Triste (Southern Lord, 2005)
This release was originally put out by IDEA in 2003.
It was then later re-released in an "under the table" type of deal by Southern Records in 2005. Shame on them.
Ancestry
editHis name seems to suggest Israeli Jewish ancestry, though that is speculation on my part. Does anyone have any information from reliable sources on that? Vargher (talk) 15:31, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
- Never mind, found a source. I will add a sentence in the opening paragraph to reflect that fact. Vargher (talk) 15:36, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
Black One
editShould Black One really be included in his discography? The album was released as Sunn O))), not as "Oren Ambarchi and Sunn O)))". Maybe it should go in a different section? French Film Blurred (talk) 07:46, 13 April 2008 (UTC)
- I found an interview in The Wire[1] which mentions his work with Sun O))) : "They were both fans of my solo work, especially the bass-heavy pure tones that I like to work with, so initially I added the low end tones from my guitar, or 'bass bombs' as they like to call them, to their live shows and soon after I added these sounds to the Black One record." so it does sound like he contributed to this album (perhaps the wording in the article has changed since your post - it sounds ok now so someone may have adjusted it) Kathodonnell (talk) 17:35, 29 May 2011 (UTC)
