Where's the "OAH" part of its history?
editOne would think that an OAH member might update this organization's history past the time of its name as "Mississippi Valley Historical Association." Under the "History" section, there are two long paragraphs on the MVHA. Suddenly, there is one final, one-sentence paragraph that mentions "OAH" (The OAH was admitted to the American Council of Learned Societies in 1971. It is a foundational partner of the National Coalition for History and the National Humanities Alliance.
- When did MVHA become OAH?
- What has happened since then?
