editHmm, does anyone think people will be confused without the
- Alternate meaning: origin
disclaimer at the top? It sort of strikes me as odd, as if
- Alternate meaning: star
would be added to the top of Star Trek: The Next Generation. Origins redirects to origin now, so maybe that will prevent any likely confusion. --Mrwojo 21:49, 14 Feb 2004 (UTC)
I thought Origins was run by Andon Games... and then Wizards of the coast for a bit before GAMA took over. Seems like they were not in the picture until the late 90s...
I agree, wizards certainly was in control of Origins for at least a couple of years and that isn't mentioned at all in the history. Anyone remember the specific years where ownership switched around. It was really noticeable afterwards when wizards wasn't even in the dealer room after GAMA took over. 199.67.140.243 (talk) 17:26, 24 May 2010 (UTC)
Year of first Origins.
editAccording to the article, it says that the first Origins was in '75. Can someone explain why the reference to this first Origins says 1974? Thanks. Bill the Cat 7 (talk) 06:13, 13 July 2010 (UTC)
Origins venues/Other
editI specified where in NY the Origins there was held. Also, one of the venues listed as Baltimore was actually held in Princeton, NJ, but as I don't know which, I left it as is.
Additionally, the history of Origins is quite a bit more complex than indicated in this article - See Winston Hamilton's (Winston was the principal owner of Game Research/Design, and very involved with GAMA, he wrote on it often) commentary in various issues of The Europa Magazine http://boardgamegeek.com/wiki/page/The_Europa_Magazine_Index — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.237.133.216 (talk) 19:55, 2 October 2013 (UTC)

Dead link
editI have been cleaning up the bare URLs in references here. One [1] (currently ref 31) appears to be permanently dead. I don't think it is really needed so I would like to just remove it. Any objections? Slimy asparagus (talk) 12:49, 28 August 2021 (UTC)
- Scrap that. I just figured out how to recover it. There is a something quite odd about it. There is only one capture and the page disappears after a while, but you can read it.Slimy asparagus (talk) 13:31, 28 August 2021 (UTC)
Anthology
editFor the past 10 years Origins has had a writing track that has published an anthology. Would it be appropriate to have a section on the page mentioning it and listing the themes & authors for each year?
