Talk:Orit Ishay
This article must adhere to the biographies of living persons (BLP) policy, even if it is not a biography, because it contains material about living persons. Contentious material about living persons that is unsourced or poorly sourced must be removed immediately from the article and its talk page, especially if potentially libellous. If such material is repeatedly inserted, or if you have other concerns, please report the issue to this noticeboard. If you are a subject of this article, or acting on behalf of one, and you need help, please see this help page. |

hey, I'm the artist Orit Ishay and i'm trying to add new information regarding my group exhibitions how can i see that someone verifies them? Oritishay (talk) 11:35, 22 July 2024 (UTC)
- I've left a notice of your conflict of interest on your Talk page. I've also undone your recent edits to the article. Please comply with the requirements of editing at Wikipedia when you're the article subject. Most important, do not edit the article directly. Any changes you believe should be made to the article should be proposed on the article Talk page using the special template described in the notice. And I can't help but comment that the article in its present state is largely unsourced. Wikipedia requires reliable sources for all material. I will probably review the article soon and remove much of it because of that. So, if you do take the time to propose adding new material to the article, you must provide sources for it in your proposal; it's not our burden to "verify" your material.--Bbb23 (talk) 13:20, 22 July 2024 (UTC)

editHello, I'm sorry if i misunderstood or mistpped my position, i never meant to publish on my behalf without consulting with anyone. It's actually my first time posting on this article, In my behalf. I can assure you that all the information published was correct all though due to the harsh policies i'm adding a respected verifiable source for the exhibitions i've exhibited in. 'Artfacts' still doesn't include a large scope of my work due to it being limited to only english invitations (so any hebrew content that is relevant is unfortunately left out, some of the awards and grants are also written in hebrew). https://artfacts.net/artist/orit-ishay/231630/exhibitions 'Artfacts' supports my claim. Please i insist on retrieving previous information that was published by others and that still stands correct. I've tried to keep the information up to date, it is quite hard though to find verifibale data from a 30 year career span. I would like to see my biography restated as well as, 'solo exhibitions' and 'group exhibitions'. hope this finds you well, Best regards, Orit Oritishay (talk) 09:06, 31 July 2024 (UTC)
- In addition to my last correspondence with you, I would like to understand how significant events in my career would find themselves on my Wikipedia article.
- In example, If the ministry of culture of Israel grants me a significant, award who updates this information?
- Obviously the ministry of culture doesn't update the wiki page, so is there anyone in charge of this? what should I do in these cases?
- Thank you
- Best regards,
- Orit Oritishay (talk) 09:16, 31 July 2024 (UTC)

- Specific text to be added or removed: please restore the English article before the user: Bbb23 [User:Bbb23|Bbb23]] had deleted all of the information
- Reason for the change: I'm adding a sufficient source of material that verifies my claims that the information published is true and valid from the respected official Israeli museum website.

- Hi! I assume you want this version restored. Could you please provide a version of this with inline citations, preferably to independent sources, so reviewers don't have to dig through dozens of links to check the information? The content overall looks fine except for the very long lists of awards/projects/works/etc at the end, which should be removed entirely or in some limited cases incorporated in prose into the body. - Hello!
- Thanks again for your quick response, i really appreciate it,
- i've posted proposed changes for most of the data that i've found relevant. although there is still some additional information to be retreived and edited Oritishay (talk) 10:59, 21 August 2024 (UTC)
- This doesn't address my concern. You've provided a long list of sources, but haven't made it clear which source supports which facts. Reviewing editors should not have to sort through dozens of links to find the right one. I'm closing this request since you seem to have been blocked. If you are unblocked, please follow the tutorial at Help:Introduction to referencing with VisualEditor/2, create a draft with inline citations, and then you can open a new request.
