Founder's Award
editThe article has the following line:
In recognition of that dubious achievement, JD Power awarded the Founder's Award to the Car Plant in the summer of 2008; it is an award that has been presented only six times in the lengthy history of JD Power & Associates.
I don't see how winning 19 JD Power awards quality awards in the last 10 years is 'dubious'. In fact, the sentence implies that JD power sees that quantity of awards as outstanding. When looking through the edit history, it appears that the entire sentence was added at the same time by the same author, so it wasn't just a random vandal. It is also not obvious that it is a typo, I can't think of reasonable corruption of dubious that results in a word that would be appropriate. The only thing I can imagine is that somehow JD Power awards themselves are considered dubious. Since I know very little about the topic, I'll avoid being too bold and making the change immediately, but unless I hear any objections or explanation in the next couple days, I'll go ahead and remove 'dubious' from that line. - I think the person who added that paragraph just used the wrong word. --Olds 403 (talk) 01:40, 10 May 2009 (UTC)
Opening date
editThe date when this factory first opened is missing. Can anyone find a reference for it? The vehicle production list indicates it was producing some models in the 1950s, but the production list doesn't include years for all vehicles and may have opened even earlier than that. -- Bovineone (talk) 17:49, 18 December 2009 (UTC)
