Translation request
editI removed the German-English translation request as there is no additional information on the German page de:Oskar Minkowski. -- mamut 13:10, 21 May 2006 (UTC)
Place of birth
editThere is a contradiction between the German and the English article. According to the German version Minkowski died in Wiesbaden while the English one states Mecklenburg and the cited source speaks of Fürstenberg an der Havel. Who's right? -- mamut 13:10, 21 May 2006 (UTC)
- As referenced in the biography, he died at the Sanatorium Fürstenburg an der Havel, Mecklenburg-Strelitz, Germany. Ekem 16:52, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
Polish descent
editCan anyone provide a reference for the statement that Oskar Minkowski was "of Polish descent"? His Jewish ancestry is well known and his connection to German culture as well. The same applies for his brother Hermann Minkowski. --Mesenchym (talk) 00:20, 12 January 2008 (UTC)
