I have to also mention that, as a child long time ago, I remember doing a kinder version of Osoto Gari, where tori pushes uke away to unload the leg being reaped, followed by a pull back down for the throw.

Variations?
editCurrently the article suggests an application of force at the thigh level, a year ago it was at the back of the knee. Again others recommend it down at the calf. Can we have some information on the variations?--Razionale (talk) 18:58, 15 April 2011 (UTC)
