Oh, well, the editor, apparently User:Christmanelp, might well have the ability to put the text into the public domain, and then it wouldn't be a copyvio, anyhow. The source looks like a press release, and I am not sure if that is possibly already putting the text into the public domain, though I suspect press releases don't accomplish that. We can't use copyrighted material, except for under "fair use" or perhaps other exceptions that may allow it. For now at least, any material from that should be rewritten and/or quoted explicitly. I may just revert it to a previous version, until this can be clarified. Christmanelp, could you please comment here? If you are in fact with Christman company that owns this building, or similarly associated, you will need to see and observe some wikipedia guidelines about conflict of interest that are relevant, described at wp:COI. Briefly, you'd be able to edit here, but you should disclose your connection and you should usually defer to non-COI editors if there is any conflict of opinions. It could work well if you would be willing to post suggested changes to the article, here on this Talk page, for discussion before they are put into the article. I'll add that source as an external link to the article right now. I and perhaps others will "watch" this article and will respond if you follow up here; I'll also "watch" your wikipedia page; feel free to contact me at my own Talk page if i somehow miss your postings elsewhere. doncram (talk) 02:32, 14 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
The Accident Fund/Christman Co press release was picked up and published by Reuters, Crain's Detroit Business and many other sources.Fladrif (talk) 16:34, 15 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
