July 20th plot

I vaguely recall seeing a picture of Guensche being awarded by Hitler himself a badge commemorating the failure of the July 20th plot. From what I understand, the explosion had actually thrown Guensche out a window. Can anyone verify, and if so, would this not be worth noting in the article? Close, but no cigar

The "External links" section supposedly contains a photo of Günsche. The man in the picture is not Günsche. The signature looks more like "Otto Temm." The signature on the photo has no "ü" with its umlaut. Neither is there an "h" with its high loop. The face has no resemblance to Günsche, who was slightly cross–eyed and had a bulbous nose.Lestrade (talk) 03:17, 6 June 2010 (UTC)Lestrade

Orderly, not Ordnance, Officer

The reference to him being Hitler's "ordnance officer" is a mistranslation of "Ordonnanzoffizier" which is correctly translated as orderly officer or aide. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 114.78.190.102 (talk) 12:59, 28 May 2012 (UTC)

Does anyone know if "sharp interrogation" is a euphemism for "torture?" Was this German POW tortured by his captors -- our Soviet allies?

British expression. They were subjected to psychological and physical torture while being imprisoned and interrogated. Kierzek (talk) 16:09, 23 August 2021 (UTC)
