Year of birth

edit

Born 1905 not 1906 as per born 1905, not 1906 per his own gravestone/niche and the Social Security Death Index. Rms125a@hotmail.com (talk) 21:53, 30 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Discussion?

edit

Okay, so where's the discussion of what, specifically, makes this article potentially POV? Or was this just a "drive-by" tagging? 75.225.83.38 (talk) 00:18, 6 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Marriages?

edit

Is it me or is there something odd about a detailed Personal Life section which ignores two whole wives? 31.124.106.55 (talk) 03:08, 16 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Photograph with bad caption

edit

The photograph of Preminger with five cast members has a garbled caption. The last person on the right is Rosy Barsony. The men's features are sufficiently similar that I can't put them in proper order. J S Ayer (talk) 15:24, 25 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

After further study of the photographs I have rewritten the caption. Anyone with better information, feel free to help. J S Ayer (talk) 15:02, 26 July 2022 (UTC

I can't pinpoint where I read it, so I'm mentioning it here. One actor was supposed to have responded to Preminger's abuse by breaking a glass beer mug over his head to the tune of several stitches.

Alzheimer's Diagnosis

edit

Is there a source for his Alzheimer's diagnosis? I could not find one in the article. I ask because Hope Bryce denies that he was ever diagnosed with Alzheimer's (despite others' claims that he had Alzheimer's) in Foster Hirsch's biography of Preminger, which is cited elsewhere on the page. I will add a mention of Hope's claim in the article text; if there is a source to the contrary, that should be mentioned as well. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.225.114.30 (talk) 09:09, 15 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
