Bath University
editCan someone who has read the book clarify whether the protagonist is an academic at (the fictional) Bath University, or the (correctly named in our universe) University of Bath? If the latter, can you change the link? Thanks 89.240.5.5 (talk) 21:35, 22 February 2009 (UTC)
- The police inspector calls it Bath University (on p16 of the H&S paperback edition).
But that's how people talk: eg, it's always "the Bath University Students Union", BUSU. Why should the fictitious inspector's colloquial usage affect the link? Often, such distinctions are correctly disregarded in our universe! Wikipedia is not so pedantic as to overlook the general practice to shorten elaborate forms in common speech.Jezza (talk) 17:03, 11 November 2009 (UTC)
