Suggestions/discussion to avoid conflict while editing

edit

Editing on Wikipedia can be peaceful and harmonious otherwise it is way to stressful. @Slp1: I opened this up in hopes of creating harmony while Governor Sheng and myself are editing on the same pages. Please comment and offer your suggestions.
@Governor Sheng: please offer your suggestions too.

  • Neither one of us should have to ask permission to add well documented information to a page because no one "owns" a page.[1]
  • We should assume that we both are editing in Good Faith [2] - Ask rather than accuse.
  • Because of the conflict between us, it seems best that if there is a question or suggestion regarding one of our edits, we bring it to the talk page with respect. Avoid reverting, changing or shortening either of our edits without an agreement. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Red Rose 13 (talkcontribs) 16:29, 14 February 2021 (UTC)

Page needed

edit

@Manannan67: The reason I kept that the page is needed, is because on Wikipedia that is what we do, we provide all information. The link to the book that has no pages listed is still there but I think we should still keep that the page is still needed. In time we will find a source that provides pages as a preview of the book. To say there is no pagination is in error. I didn't remove the current link but only added that the page is needed. Please return the notification. Or perhaps there is another way to communicate it to the reader. Red Rose 13 (talk) 16:44, 8 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

"To say there is no pagination is in error." Well no, it's not. There are about four versions of Rousseau's work reflecting somewhat different formats. The one herein cited is a book published by Routledge in 2022 with an ISBN of 9781000422399. All information was provided. One cannot provide page numbers that do not exist. In the event that you should come across a version that discusses the commemoration of Serbs almost immediately prior to the alleged apparitions, and it has numbered pages, feel free to add it. It is such a minor thing, I am fine with that.Red Rose 13 (talk) 07:21, 9 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
