Outreach can target various populations, from sex workers and drug users to museum goers and Wikipedia editors and readers.

I suppose this is true and I cannot think of a better way to put it just now, but it is striking to group these populations together. Blue Rasberry (talk) 13:29, 10 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
Could of course be expanded upon, if someone can find good sources. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 14:44, 10 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

This article needs to explain how Christian outreach ministry is performed.

edit

I still can't tell if it's helping people or converting people to Christianity or maybe it's helping people with the intent of making religious conversions to Christianity. Public schools and libraries also have their own outreach programs. Schools may outreach to others by sending students to foreign countries and studying there. Libraries may offer book mobiles, helping people in faraway places get access to books. 140.254.227.81 (talk) 21:50, 22 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

You need Wikimedia outreach (or whatever it is called)

edit

For the Wikimedia Outreach see Outreach wiki.

I added this to the end because I spent quite a while searching for the sister-interlink prefix to this. It is not even certain what to call this organization, but I am using it (see Wikipedia:Wiki Ed for more information). Since they have the sister link outreach:Main Page that seems to call itself "Outreach wiki", I assume that is their name, and I assume that something with a sisterlink belongs on Wikipedia somewhere.

The reason you need this is a sister-link nobody seems to know about: outreach:Education

Hi! My name is Alyssa and I am a student at UC Berkeley editing this page for my global poverty and practice class. I am adding further information about different kinds of services provided by outreach workers and moving the current "housing first model" paragraph into a section about providing housing, and moving "territory" into the section about social services. here is my sandbox: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Alyssagpp/Outreach?veaction=edit&preload=Template%3ADashboard.wikiedu.org_draft_template Alyssagpp (talk) 02:05, 15 May 2021 (UTC)alyssagppReply

Creating of new page

edit

Hi, my name is Kavn Aulakh. I am an undergraduate student at the University of California, Berkeley. I am proposing creating a new page dedicated to Homeless street outreach. As such, it would make sense to take information from this page to use on this new page. It would also make sense to link the two articles. Kavnaulakh (talk) 18:56, 20 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
