precedence
editIt says that in the USAF they can wear both short and long service ribbons at the same time. My question is: which one has precedence long or short?--75.88.155.19 (talk) 20:46, 27 August 2008 (UTC)
- The short, according to the factsheet, and more explicitly according to afi36-2803, section 5.3.9.3 on page 155 of the Dec. 2013 version of that document (page 167 in this pdf file). Cheers, Gecko G (talk) 08:22, 11 October 2015 (UTC)
Posthumous?
editThis question is for all branches. If a soldier/sailor/airman/Marine is killed before meeting the time criteria set for the Overseas Service Ribbon, are they awarded it posthumously? Illegitimate Barrister (talk) 15:11, 7 September 2013 (UTC)
ADT?
editIn the Army Reserve Components Overseas Training Ribbon section, the acronym ADT is used without definition. For people unfamiliar with US armed forces acronyms, this could lead to some confusion. As I myself am not sure exactly what ADT refers to, could someone who does know the definition add it in?
