Mechanism of Action
editThe article states that Ovomucin inhibits trypsin, which seems correct. But how does it do so? A short explanation should be given. Currently I am trying to find out how specifically it does so. I assume it binds to the active pocket of trypsin, but I have found no proof of that yet in articles. 84.112.136.52 (talk) 20:54, 8 November 2013 (UTC)
Dubious content
editUnsourced content was replaced by different unsourced content, by an IP editor whose only other edit is an apparent copyright violation in creating Ovomucoid. I've removed both versions beyond their shared first sentence, but hope that a subject expert can resolve this by adding sourced content. PamD 07:56, 28 June 2017 (UTC)
- The IP inadvertently did us a favor in exposing a very long-standing error confusing ovomucoid and ovomucin. Both are crappy, but accurate, stubs now. Opabinia regalis (talk) 06:39, 11 July 2017 (UTC)
