Proposal to PROD
editYworo (talk · contribs) has PRODed this article and suggested it be merged into Oxbridge. I've checked it out and added Eric Thomas's "Oxbridge prism" quote to the Oxbridge article. The book seems to have been an amusing one-off (96 pages, published 1990 and now out of print) but IMO isn't notable enough to merge. - Pointillist (talk) 12:16, 28 August 2009 (UTC)
- I have added more references and removed the notice. The term is not that new and is widely used. It is an important aspect of British university culture. — Jonathan Bowen (talk) 13:43, 28 August 2009 (UTC)
- I wasn't saying it should be deleted, btw—just that it didn't look very promising material to be incorporated into the Oxbridge article. If it can stand alone, so much the better. - Pointillist (talk) 15:55, 28 August 2009 (UTC)
- No-one has commented on the merge suggestion for six weeks, so I've removed it. - Pointillist (talk) 14:49, 12 October 2009 (UTC)
