A little bit of history: This page was created by someone unknown to me several years ago and then was deleted by an editor user:islander in 2009 as it wasn't fit for Wikipedia. I am a member of Isis Innovation and worked with the editor to ensure that the information contained within the article is both objective and verifiable. Wherever you see user:163.1.33.22 this is simply where I have forgotten to log in. If you feel that anything is incorrect or in the wrong tone, please go ahead and edit it. This page is out of date, but as OUI is my employer I would ask someone without any CoI to review and submit the following changes:

- the only references to "Isis" should be past tense, the company is now Oxford University Innovation, with Licensing and Ventures and Consulting Services teams [1]

- The metrics under "Patenting, Licensing, and spin-outs" are old. Suggest updated metrics from [2] and [3]

- Notable spinouts would benefit from more recent high-profile companies eg Oxford Nanopore (Unicorn valuation) and Nightstar Therapeutics which went from launch in 2014 to NASDAQ IPO in 2017.

- the "OXford University Innovation's division" is out of date. Firstly they are not Divisions, but 'teams' or 'groups'. Secondly Technology Transfer is now Licensing and Ventures, Thirdly, Oxford University Consulting is now Consulting Services. And fourthly, Isis Enterprise was renamed Oxentia, and is now a separate independent company following a management buyout in August 2017.

- In "Other Activities" the Isis Angels Network (IAN) is now the Oxford Angels Network (OAN). Isis Outcomes is now Clinical Outcomes. The Isis Startup Incubator is now the Startup Incubator.

- Links to other parts of the University should ideally include the Industrial Relationships PArtnership Team [4] and the Business Development and PArtnering Team [5]

- Oxford Spinout Equity MAnagement (OSEM) was merged into OUI in 2017, and is now part of the Investment activity.[6]

If further clarification required please contact OUI via the website. Thanks SGOxford (talk) 15:01, 8 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
