PRN Injection Site

edit

If anyone can figure out what the PRN as in "injection site" or "saline lock" stands for, I'd be grateful.

I think this is a particular use of the "Pro Re Nata" acronym already on the list. Thus, a "PRN injection site" is a site at which repeated injections may be required "as needed". However, I am not a specialist, so I will leave it to Dr.queso (or some better-informed contributor) to decide if/how to amend the article.FredV (talk) 14:06, 28 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
Agreed; that was my conclusion after a few days of looking into it and asking around, although I still haven't found a source. Thanks for your suggestion! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dr.queso (talkcontribs) 04:25, 30 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
