PSR B1257+12 B → PSR B1257+12 c – According to the most recent naming conventions, the proper name of this object is PSR B1257+12 c. http://simbad.u-strasbg.fr/simbad/sim-id?Ident=NAME%20PSR%20B1257%2B12c Nonith (talk) 22:29, 20 April 2017 (UTC) --Relisting. - Um OK. I have no idea what the correct name is, and cannot find out without consulting specialized resources, and have to take your word for it that that link is talking about the same planet. So not sure what you want us to do here. If that is the correct name, just move it. We trust you. Herostratus (talk) 04:34, 27 April 2017 (UTC)
- The applicable naming convention, WP:PLANETNAMES, specifically gives guidance on these:
All planetary designations are to be lowercase letters (excluding the planets of PSR B1257+12 and planets announced prior to 1995, which have uppercase letters).
We should get a consensus to change the naming convention first. This would better have been filed as a multi-move. wbm1058 (talk) 03:53, 6 May 2017 (UTC), 11:48, 6 May 2017 (UTC)
