PTSD (album) → PTSD: Post Traumatic Stress Disorder – The actual title of the album on the article in question is PTSD: Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Support move per Wikipedia:Common names. 2601:646:9280:BA70:EC62:B745:175:2A21 (talk) 22:59, 3 January 2018 (UTC)
- Comment / neutral?: While I don't fully support the proposed title, I'm unsure about what, if anything, to move it to. Like, if I saw "PTSD: Post Traumatic Stress Disorder" as the full title of an article, my first thought would be that the page was about the disorder itself. Although it's unlikely that I'd type these exact words with this punctuation in the URL and expect to be at the page on the disorder, someone might attempt to search for the Wikipedia article about the disorder, type "PTSD" into the search bar, see "PTSD: Post Traumatic Stress Disorder" in the results, click that thinking it'll definitely be about the disorder, and be confused and surprised. Per WP:ASTONISH, I'm stuck on this one. Paintspot Infez (talk) 23:51, 3 January 2018 (UTC)
- Firstly, "PTSD" redirects to Posttraumatic stress disorder, an article about the disorder. Secondly, it's hardly likely PTSD: Post Traumatic Stress Disorder may refer to the disorder, since the title I am proposing is italicized to indicate it is indeed an album title. Perhaps, we will add
{{Distinguish|Posttraumatic stress disorder}}
to the article so that it will not to be confused with "Posttraumatic stress disorder", if page-moved. --2601:646:9280:BA70:EC62:B745:175:2A21 (talk) 23:08, 4 January 2018 (UTC)

- Oppose charted 102 on the album chart? Is this even notable? ... would be misleading and per WP:ASTONISH not helpful. In ictu oculi (talk) 11:48, 4 January 2018 (UTC)
- This is about the page move request, NOT the content of the article. To all your questions, yes. https://www.billboard.com/music/Pharoahe-Monch/chart-history/billboard-200 --2601:646:9280:BA70:EC62:B745:175:2A21 (talk) 23:08, 4 January 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose - even if "(album)" were on the end I still think "PTSD" would be most recognized title. –Davey2010Talk 20:51, 4 January 2018 (UTC)
- In most cases, "PTSD" is usually posttraumatic stress disorder, which is a primary topic for its acronym. Actually, the article about the Pharoahe Monch album was first created at P.T.S.D. (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) (diff) and the parenthetical disambiguation was misleading, which made people think the article related to the disorder. --2601:646:9280:BA70:EC62:B745:175:2A21 (talk) 23:08, 4 January 2018 (UTC)
- Comment: The title "PTSD: Post Traumatic Stress Disorder" of the French-language Wikipedia counterpart is currently a target page in the article namespace, but the English Wikipedia (this site) does not have a page with the same title the article will be renamed to. --2601:646:9280:BA70:EC62:B745:175:2A21 (talk) 04:22, 5 January 2018 (UTC)
- The redirect PTSD: Post Traumatic Stress Disorder was recently created. This is a perfectly valid redirect, and other articles may link to that. wbm1058 (talk) 16:04, 10 January 2018 (UTC)
- Weak oppose. The applicable guideline is WP:SUBTITLES:
Usually, a Wikipedia article on a book (or other medium, such as a movie, TV special or video game) does not include its subtitle in the Wikipedia page name, per WP:CONCISE. The only exception to that is short article titles, for disambiguation purposes.
So we can either disambiguate with a parenthetical (album) or with the subtitle. I'm inclined to keep it as is because (album) more clearly defines the actual topic. The subtitle: Post Traumatic Stress Disorder is too much misleading to the primary topic PTSD, although that is a miscapitalization of the term which is not a proper name. Small details, so I would be OK with the move. – wbm1058 (talk) 16:00, 10 January 2018 (UTC)- Actually, you meant the primary topic Posttraumatic stress disorder, which is redirected from PTSD. Despite its miscapitalization and a redirect to the primary topic, "Post Traumatic Stress Disorder" is part of a proper name of the album. Thank you for pointing me out to WP:SUBTITLES. --2601:646:9280:BA70:EC62:B745:175:2A21 (talk) 22:39, 10 January 2018 (UTC)
