Notability
editSo, this article needs information about the notability of the subject, or it'll be deleted. I'm not really knowledgeable about oil services so I might not be the one to establish that. Here're some things I found:
- An "oilweek" magazine article, [1], cited as a source in the original version of this article, says "Arguably, the play-opener in the Bakken was a frac stimulation technology developed by Packers Plus Energy Services". The "Bakken" in this case is I believe the Bakken Formation. I'm not sure about the neutrality of the source or how far it goes to establish notability, but it seems to be something.
- A "Canadian Business" magazine article. [2] similar comments to previous.
Speaking for myself, I don't know one way or another. But it seems at least beyond speedy deletion. -- Why Not A Duck 18:40, 22 October 2009 (UTC)
- Neither of those is more than a passing mention, rather than coverage of the company itself. --Orange Mike | Talk 18:56, 22 October 2009 (UTC)
I have rewritten the article to increase the notability. Is this what you were looking for? Egjackson (talk) 16:58, 30 October 2009 (UTC)
