Numbers, etc

edit

Maybe Peejay would like to explain why he keeps edit-warring over these, despite what MOS:NUMERAL and MOS:RETAIN states. Do you have a policy-based rationale for suddenly popping up and making these non-constructive edits? Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 13:54, 10 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

I'm not particularly concerned about what we do with the numbers, but I do want to address your apparent misreading of WP:CITEVAR. Whitespace is nothing to do with the style of the citation. If you want to change it back for no reason, that's fine, but don't use CITEVAR as your rationale when it's not relevant. It's just a case of IDONTLIKEIT for you, which is fine, but don't make an edit just to change that. At least when I made those modifications, I did it in conjunction with something that has some basis in actual style guidelines. – PeeJay 14:35, 10 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
