Why the tone template?

edit

I'm going to delete it since there wasn't any comments about what prompted it, but let's discuss it here... dm 05:39, 8 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Rock throwing

Someone should add something about the rock-throwing incident that injured Pale Male

This is AWESOME

Year of birth

edit

So which is it, 1991 or 1992? text and category do not match. Carlwev (talk) 04:07, 8 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Spelling error?

edit

It seems unlikely to me that both spellings are correct: eyases and eyasses. Both are used in the article. Even if both are legitimate, it seems best that one be used over the other.

Pronunciation?

edit

The IPA in the article implies the name is pronounced like "pahlay mahlay". This seems unlikely to me, and is not how the name is pronounced in the documentary about the bird. Is there a source for it? LWizard @ 07:19, 6 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

The last information is from 2021 - any news? 2A02:3035:819:84CB:1:0:210E:1CB7 (talk) 15:15, 10 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

Other city red tails-Atlas and Athena nested on the Triboro bridge; i can’t remember the name but a pair nested successfully on the Unisphere in Flushing-we used to use the sphere’s countries as locations when the eyases were “branching” there. Mama nested on a building followed by ? JKNature. Bobby and Victoria nested on a building on/near Washington Square Park. 2600:1702:3DA0:3950:C0B5:C649:4EE2:353C (talk) 17:28, 17 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
