- Do you think 16th century is not Middle Ages?
Why do you think the Hronika Bihowcja is fake?
- It is not fake, its genealogies are. They were commissioned by Holszanskis in order to provide this obscure family with an illustrious Italian lineage. If you look at the contemporary Russia, they compiled genealogies alleging Rurik's descent from Julius Caesar. Should we take them seriously as well? --Ghirlandajo 10:17, 1 September 2005 (UTC)
What is REAL chronicles then?

- Palemon appears in many chronicles, not only in one. Look:
- Prince Palemon in Ruthenian chronicles
- The Rumyantsev and Raczinski chronicles mentioned there are even later than Bykhovets. IIRC they start with an account of 500 Roman families arriving from Ceasar to Lithuania. You may imagine what the scholars think about such "sources". --Ghirlandajo 10:17, 1 September 2005 (UTC)
