I was able to add coordinates to this article based on a map of Central Park in this 1870 report. The museum is listed as #11 on Page 80 of the report its location is shown in the map that follows Page 81. The Wikipedia:WikiProject New York City template also included a request for a map so perhaps this report could be useful for creating such a map. Transpoman (talk) 10:34, 9 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

It's a shame that the dinosaur sculptures were completely destroyed. As highly inaccurate and outdated by today's standards they were, I hope some people will recreate these statues one day as a tribute to this destroyed museum. BoiaBoiaMans (talk) 01:02, 29 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
