Problem
editIt is not true that the IDF destroyed the Palestinian Legislative Council, and the source is a terrorist organization - PELP. I checked in the internet and some books and nobody said that the IDF done it.Therefor I delete this sentence. Andigisi (talk) 06:41, 13 February 2010 (UTC)
Funny, cause in the photos I've seen it looks pretty destroyed. Perhaps more importantly, it looks nothing like the building in the photo. If you compare the two they bear no relation in design or shape. The PLC building is/was bang in the middle of Gaza City just past Palestine Square and pretty much everything around it, save for some minor building damage, is intact. There is a great photo of it after the invasion on Life, after the IDF done it, but I don't think that comes under free use, commons licence etc. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.193.194.228 (talk) 00:07, 28 July 2010 (UTC)

editRecently the palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas declared the PNC dissolved [1] and there will be possibly take place within the next few months some souces say the palestinian president will issue a decree in the next meeting of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization.
Oslo gives functional control of Area C to the Palestinians
editThe statement "In Area C, Israel has full control." is incorrect. Oslo mandated that "functional control" of Area C "will be gradually transferred to Palestinian jurisdiction in three phases, each to take place after an interval of six months, to be completed 18 months after the inauguration of the Council.” Article XVII The Council was inaugurated in March of 1996. By October of 1997, Israel was in flagrant violation of Oslo. This should be changed to "Functional control of Area C was to be turned over to the Palestinians in 1997, but the turnover never happened." Mcdruid (talk) 09:11, 17 April 2021 (UTC)
- Odd how such an egregious lie remains uncorrected. Mcdruid (talk) 04:29, 25 November 2021 (UTC)
- Still not corrected. Mcdruid (talk) 00:09, 24 December 2021 (UTC)

I want to do a minor modification consisting in saying "as of today" instead of a date in 2021, concerning the duration of the ongoing suspension of the legislative council. Thanks KevinPerros (talk) 20:18, 2 November 2023 (UTC)
- Not done: See MOS:RELTIME – "as of today" could potentially become incorrect while a specific date cannot. I have updated the date to November 2023. Tollens (talk) 12:39, 3 November 2023 (UTC)

Legislative seat map uses an interesting choice of colors
editMore specifically, the PFLP and DFLP colors are the same on the list of political parties but is NOT the same on the map.
I don't have extended confirmed so I can't edit the colors myself, does someone want to clean that up? AmrAlWatan(🗣️|📝) 15:40, 6 May 2024 (UTC)
