Paley Center
editPerhaps it would be worthwhile to flesh out who "Paley" is. --David Shankbone 16:56, 17 August 2007 (UTC)
unsupported claims
editThe following was not supported by any source and was thus removed:
Decisions since the most recent name change include collecting fewer programs, downplaying the collection while doubling the amount of seminars, and raising membership fees to screen out undesirables, gradually morphing the organization into a right-wing think tank.
If a source can be found to back up then they can be added back. --Cab88 10:30, 18 August 2007 (UTC)
"The" in title
editIs there a special reason why "The" is included at the start of the article name? My reading of Wikipedia:Naming conventions (definite and indefinite articles at beginning of name) is that this should be avoided where possible. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rodw (talk • contribs) 19:48, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
tell me what paleyfest is, eh
editA Google News search for Paleyfest yields 36,000 results, while "paley center" only gives fewer than 3,600. Maybe you should explain what the heck Paleyfest is here if you're going to redirect that term to this page. I assume that Wikipedians consider journalistic usage in recognizing noteworthiness, and so "Paleyfest" ought to be defined or explained here; currently, it appears nowhere in the body of the article.
