Photos of the Missile?

- Yes, now we do. The Sutton source from later in the day on 25 Aug (see below) says that President Zelensky released a video that shows the missile. One could probably extract a photo image from that. NOTE: Sutton also says that some of the vid in the Zelensky video is stock footage of some US missile production factory. Existing description from Covert Shores 24 April 2024 source is inadequate
editThe existing bit in the article is this:
According to independent analysts,[according to whom?] the JetCat P400 Pro is used as a micro-turbojet with a maximum thrust of about 43 kg. Its maximum speed was noted at about 300km/h and its warhead estimated to be of 20 kg. There seems to be no vertical rudder and it is constructed using carbon fibre and wooden structural components to reduce the overall weight and radar signature.[1]
That Covert Shores April source does not support that this device being shown is the Palianytsia missile-drone announced on 24 August 2024. Moreover, on the morning of 24 Aug, Sutton said on his twitter account that although many had picked up on the jet drone and were saying it was Palianytsia in the past hours, he was emphatically not saying that. editLooks like 24+ hrs after the announcement of the new weapon by Ukraine, there is beginning to be some technical details published. Let's add some of them here, and then the article might be improved with reference to these sources. N2e (talk) 10:30, 25 August 2024 (UTC)

Rocket drone?!
editIt does not seem to make any sense to call this a rocket drone when it has no rocket engine but a jet engine, and clearly does not use a ballistic flight mode but a horizontal one, making use of aerodynamic lift.
IOW there is nothing rocket-like about this system except maybe the speed.
Not even Ukraine, the developer, calls it that but they call it "missile-drone" because it is a crossover between a cruise missile and a drone. Cancun771 (talk) 08:51, 27 August 2024 (UTC)
- I agree - but the confusion seems to be wide spread in media. Some even called it a hybrid blurring the lines between ballistic and cruise missiles and yet something else (which I already forgot). I don't really see it being a new category so it can be called the same thing like for example a Tomahawk.
