Infobox and lead
edit- Should you really use & instead of and in the infobox?
- Swap the release sentence with the writing/production one
- "It is a bachata acoustic ballad track about" → "It is a bachata acoustic ballad about" per WP:SEAOFBLUE
- "was met with positive reactions from" → "received positive reactions from" making this the first sentence of the second para instead
- Remove "for the track" after accompanying music video
- Move the award sentence to being the second sentence of the second para in the new order, followed by the commercial one and then music video
- Pipe Latin Award to BMI Film & TV Awards
Background and composition
edit- "Juan Luis Guerra released his seventh studio album," → "Guerra released his seventh studio album"
- "his answer", Guerra states." → "his answer", Guerra stated." unless this is a book quote, then keep as it is
- "new album in Miami. "I'm making" → "new album in Miami and he said: "I'm making"
- "On February the following year, the singer gave" → "In February the following year, Guerra gave"
- "and that would be released" → "revealing it would be released"
- "Guerra's label, Karen Records, revealed" → "Guerra's label Karen Records, revealed"
- "the album's productions" is the plural really suitable here?
- "that it would still contain the aforementioned musical genres." → "it would still contain the genres he announced." or something similar, per this being a new para
- Remove the word song after ballad because that is another way of saying song/track for a musical description
Promotion and reception
edit- Remove accompanying before music video since the term for implies this
- "called it a" → "called the song a" starting a new para at this point
- "referred it as one of" → "referred to it as one of the"
- "as one of the record's" I don't think this is the appropriate introduction for a quote focusing on a "piece"
- "hits of the midnineties."" → "hits of the midnineties"." per MOS:QUOTE
- "It was acknowledged as an" → ""Palomita Blanca" was acknowledged as an"
- Pipe BMI Latin Awards to BMI Film & TV Awards
- Pipe Billboard to Billboard (magazine)
- "it became his" → "it became Guerra's"
- Remove semi-colon at the end of the sentence
Charts
editWeekly charts
edit- Wikilink Hot Latin Songs
- Wikilink Tropical Airplay
Year-end charts
edit- Good

edit- Good
References
edit- Copyvio score looks incredible at 5.7%!!!
- Wikilink Broadcast Music, Inc. on ref 18
- Remove or replace ref 20 since AllMusic chart positions can be edited anyone so this is unreliable
Final comments and verdict
edit- On hold until all of the issues are fixed; nice work here once again! --K. Peake 07:09, 8 August 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks for the review as always. In regards to Allmusic's charts, the charts were provided by Billboard themselves as a license before the cost was too much for AllMusic (Source). For whatever reason, Billboard doesn't have a database for JLG despite him being one of the biggest Latin music stars. BTW, I don't know if you this, but I clipped articles from Newspapers.com and articles from ProQuest are free to us Wikipedia users (just go [https://wikipedialibrary.wmflabs.org/ here) to access them. Hope this helps! Erick (talk) 14:11, 8 August 2022 (UTC)
